This is my son Paul taken this school year he is 11 years old in this picture. I flew home from the USNS PECOS in 1997 for his birth. I was there with my wife most of the time for him. I was the only one who got to hold him and feed him for the first four days. These events usually take place over night with Mom and baby going home the next day. They kept my wife for 4 days before she was allowed to go home. I was there for his first shot but the boy turned out to be a mama's boy. He is a wanderer. He just cannot stand sitting still or for that matter staying in his own yard.
