This picture was taken on Elizabeth's 2nd birthday. The view is from Peak Victoria on the Victoria side of Hong Kong. In the foreground in line with my wife is the Bank of China. Across the harbor is Kowloon. The bright blur above the Bank of China is a plane that just took off from Kaitak Air Port. Planes taking off from Kaitak would need to go into an imeadiate steep climb to prevent crashing into towers on the Victoria side. Elbert Tan and my Niece Marsha had a flat not to far from Kaitak  this is where my wife and daughter stayed that year. She spent another 3 months in Hong Kong before returning to Florida and joining me in Cape Canaveral for 2 days.
